About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement front-end features for reporting and analytics products, including dashboards, charts, tables, and interactive data visualizations
  • Contribute to UI/UX flows, component layouts, and wireframes using AI tools
  • Build and modify primarily .NET/C# APIs and services supporting front-end reporting features
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and front-end automated tests
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline changes, environment configuration, release checklists, and basic DevOps tasks
  • Work with the squad to understand requirements, identify tradeoffs, and clarify or break down tasks
  • Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
  • Partner with engineers to understand data contracts and ensure accurate reporting features
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and triage reporting-facing issues
  • Use AI tools for code generation, debugging, test writing, design assistance, and operational tasks across the stack

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on front-end development
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework; React preferred, Angular considered
  • Solid HTML/CSS skills
  • Working experience with back-end development using C#/.NET and Web APIs, or comparable server-side experience
  • Comfort with SQL and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
  • Willingness and ability to perform QA, basic DevOps, and lightweight design tasks using AI tools
  • Comfort using AI coding assistants in daily workflow across front-end, backend, testing, and deployment work
  • Ability to independently tackle well-scoped problems and communicate clearly when additional context is needed
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Nice-to-have: experience with data visualization libraries such as D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, or Recharts
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to reporting/BI tools or concepts, including embedded analytics, dashboarding frameworks, and OLAP
  • Nice-to-have: experience with state management such as Redux or Zustand
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or cloud deployment basics
  • Nice-to-have: experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
  • Nice-to-have: prior experience using Claude or similar LLM-based coding/agent tools
