About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Compile and resolve punch list items
Perform final walk-throughs with customers
Secure signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customers
Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers
Provide daily project updates to customers and clients
Schedule subcontractors and material suppliers
Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and scope-of-work requirements
Document project activities in the job book
Execute change orders
Set expectations with subcontractors and resource providers
Maintain quality standards through site inspections
Evaluate and rate vendors and subcontractors
Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions
Ensure material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased
Ensure subcontractors complete work according to purchase orders
Validate project schedule and progress
Identify work outside the contracted scope
Execute all roles and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator
Repair and restore homes and businesses while delivering high-quality customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Superb customer service track record
Effective written and oral communication
Basic math skills
Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
High school diploma/GED
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Walking and/or standing throughout the day
Frequent driving and sitting
Occasionally climbing ladders
Ability to work in extreme conditions such as heat
Ability to work in loud environments and jobsites
Full-time availability, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Willingness to work long hours, on-call, and weekends
Ability to travel primarily locally, with occasional out-of-area and overnight travel
