About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Improve regulatory compliance across Wastewater Recycling
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, compliant documentation
  • Ensure standards, procedures and systems of work are robust, controlled and aligned with legislation
  • Support and challenge operational teams to meet regulatory and Health & Safety standards
  • Build operational teams’ understanding and capability
  • Monitor performance and report on compliance
  • Carry out assurance checks
  • Address risk or underperformance where needed
  • Lead continuous-improvement activity to reduce operational failures and embed best practice
  • Strengthen long-term compliance, safety, performance and regulatory outcomes across the region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience of driving compliance and improving operational results
  • Strong technical knowledge within Customer Operations
  • Solid understanding of CDM and contractor management
  • Confidence influencing at all levels and challenging constructively
  • Ability to shape behaviours and build a strong culture of compliance
  • Ability to simplify complex regulations into clear, practical ways of working
  • Experience using data, root cause analysis and performance insight to drive continuous improvement
  • Positive, caring attitude and willingness to get involved
