About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and respond to card and ACH disputes filed against Sezzle
- Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve disputes within allowed timeframes
- Work cross-functionally with fraud and disputes departments to determine case-by-case next steps
- Investigate transactions using internal policies and review methodologies to identify patterns and trends
- Analyze account patterns using internal systems and tools
- Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineering to improve loss prevention mechanisms, processes, and tools
- Maintain strong domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies
- Meet service level agreements for timely case resolution and minimize potential losses
- Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders
- Recommend process improvements and scaling opportunities to management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in analyzing data and comfort making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong business judgment and communication skills
- Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools
- Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time
