About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Product Manager for Marketplace
- Set up, QA, and launch A/B tests across Marketplace features, ensuring correct targeting, variants, and tracking
- Monitor running tests, flag issues, and call results once statistically significant
- Maintain a single source of truth for test status, audiences, and learnings
- Create and manage placements, promotions, coupons, and offers across the Sezzle app
- Set up and manage cashback programs in internal admin tools
- Onboard online stores into the marketplace and activate their store domains
- Map user and merchant segments to features, placements, and offers
- Run QA audits, resolve user-reported issues and broken links, and configure alerts
- Benchmark the shopping experience against competitors and propose new placements, deals, and offers
- Document test plans, results, and processes; identify workflows that can be automated with AI
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, design, and partnerships teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in operations, experimentation, or product analytics
- Highly organized; able to run many tests and workstreams at once
- Clear written and verbal communication in English
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with SQL and dashboards and able to read A/B test results, including lift, significance, and sample size
- Comfortable in a fast-changing environment where priorities shift
- Detail-oriented with a QA mindset
- Daily user of Claude or a similar AI tool, with examples of using it to analyze data, write queries, draft documents, and automate repetitive work
- Experience with A/B testing or feature flag tools such as Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Statsig, or Firebase (nice to have)
- Experience with affiliate, cashback, or advertising partnerships (nice to have)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (nice to have)
- Experience with mobile apps and product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel (nice to have)
