About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review receipt-scanning submissions against validation rules and make consistent approve/reject decisions
  • Identify unusual receipt formats, retailer-specific quirks, duplicates, and signs of abuse
  • Document edge cases for scalable handling
  • Provide engineering with bug reports, reproducible examples, and suggested improvements to extraction and validation logic
  • Maintain a prioritized improvement backlog based on customer impact, fraud risk, and operational cost
  • Track fixes, confirm shipped improvements, and flag regressions
  • Maintain review guidelines, decision criteria, and escalation paths
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, or remove workflow steps
  • Help shape internal review tools
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and data teams on the receipt-scanning experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Genuine interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, or products operating at scale
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Structured, logical mindset with ability to identify patterns and turn them into rules, fixes, or recommendations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required
  • Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
  • Prior experience in internships, projects, or extracurriculars related to operations, product, fintech, data analysis, trust & safety, or startups is a plus
