Key responsibilities & impact

  • Mentor engineering teammates
  • Design, develop, and optimize systems supporting financial reporting, reconciliation, and automation workflows
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and build auditable systems
  • Shape technical direction and own projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience
  • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward
  • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst preferred
  • Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, reporting, and compliance preferred
  • Experience in banking or financial institutions is a plus
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, and Go
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog
  • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS
  • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications
  • Experience with Golang, TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, GitLab, and automated testing
