Design software applications and features in Golang and React
Build distributed architecture solutions that maintain consistency while scaling
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products
Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products
Deliver high-quality, testable features adhering to reporting standards
Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market
Mentor engineering teammates and elevate their experience and knowledge
Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams
Provide scalable and innovative solutions to internal and customer problems
Unblock teammates and iterate based on feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience
Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward
Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language
Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architecture
Experience with transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka
Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred: experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool
Preferred: familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog
Preferred: DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines
Preferred: familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS
Preferred: demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications
Preferred: record of bringing products to market and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder/customer feedback
