About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run Sharp Performance's event program across the public safety market
  • Manage registrations, booth logistics, shipping, collateral, travel, and budget before events
  • Build email and LinkedIn outreach with Marketing and Sales to book meetings before events
  • Staff the booth and engage officers, command staff, and agency leaders onsite
  • Capture every lead with notes
  • Keep account executives' meeting schedules and materials on track
  • Enter leads into HubSpot during the week after each event
  • Qualify leads with Sales and track conversions to meetings and opportunities
  • Report meetings booked, leads captured, opportunities created, and cost per lead for each event
  • Document what worked and what did not
  • Report to the SVP of Marketing and work day to day with Sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5 years running B2B events, conferences, or field programs, including pre- and post-event work
  • Experience marketing or selling to law enforcement, fire, EMS, or adjacent public safety markets is a plus
  • Readiness to learn how public safety agencies are structured and who makes decisions
  • Organization to keep multiple moving pieces on schedule
  • Confidence initiating conversations, asking questions, and involving salespeople when appropriate
  • Pipeline mindset focused on meetings and qualified leads rather than badge scans
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or a comparable CRM, email campaign tools, and event registration platforms
  • Willingness to travel to events, often several per month during conference season
  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast changes, and hands-on work
