Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead regional sales strategy aligned with Commercial Division and Patcraft objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Identify and activate growth opportunities across markets, segments, customers, and channels
  • Establish goals and priorities for Account Executives and measure performance
  • Move quickly from strategy to execution and create urgency around key opportunities
  • Spend meaningful time in the market with Account Executives, providing coaching, feedback, and development
  • Build customer relationships and engage with end users, A&D firms, dealers, and other market partners
  • Analyze sales performance, market conditions, and competitive activity
  • Develop strategies for priority accounts, major projects, and high-opportunity markets
  • Foster collaboration across the sales team and broader Commercial organization
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent
  • Manage regional resources, including sales budgets, account assignments, and territory coverage
  • Ensure execution of Commercial Division and Patcraft strategies, programs, processes, and initiatives
  • Represent Patcraft with customers and industry partners
  • Support the Southeast Division, Patcraft brand, and Shaw Industries enterprise objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of sales experience or equivalent business experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence performance, and drive business results
  • Must reside within the assigned region of Georgia, South Carolina, or Tennessee
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationships within the region
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory and spend nights away from home when necessary
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Strong communication, coaching, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial interiors industry experience preferred
  • Commercial flooring industry experience preferred
  • Previous sales leadership experience leading geographically dispersed teams preferred
  • Experience coaching and developing Account Executives or outside sales professionals preferred
  • Established relationships within the A&D, end-user, dealer, healthcare, workplace, education, or government segments preferred
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Experience leading through change and driving profitable growth across multiple markets preferred
