About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute full-funnel demand generation campaigns tailored to the higher education market
  • Translate SHI campaign frameworks and growth initiatives into targeted, vertical-specific engagement strategies
  • Orchestrate multi-channel programs across digital, content, events, and account-based marketing
  • Align campaign messaging, targeting, and execution with SHI’s marketing framework
  • Partner with sales teams on account plans, pipeline priorities, and growth objectives
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content and campaign assets
  • Own and optimize higher education campaign and landing pages
  • Drive integrated campaign execution across SHI.com, digital channels, content syndication, and outbound engagement
  • Develop messaging frameworks aligned with higher education priorities and trends
  • Lead higher education tradeshow strategy and execution, including promotion, onsite engagement, and follow-up
  • Plan and execute field events and executive engagement experiences
  • Drive participation from priority accounts and key stakeholders
  • Manage partner-funded demand generation campaigns and collaborate on OEM messaging
  • Leverage Market Development Funds to maximize reach, engagement, and pipeline impact
  • Analyze campaign performance and KPIs related to engagement, pipeline, and revenue
  • Provide reporting and actionable insights to marketing and sales stakeholders
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data, market trends, and feedback
  • Report to the Associate Director, Demand Generation (Public Sector)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on higher education and/or public sector markets
  • Strong understanding of the higher education IT landscape, procurement cycles, and contract vehicles
  • Proven ability to execute integrated, multi-touch marketing campaigns across digital, content, and event channels
  • Strong event planning and execution capabilities, including tradeshows and field marketing events
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across sales, partner marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to measure campaign performance, analyze results, and evaluate ROI
  • Strong communication, positioning, and messaging development skills tailored to higher education audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic planning, campaign orchestration, and account-based marketing capabilities
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%
  • Preferred: Experience managing partner-funded marketing campaigns and Market Development Funds (MDF) investments
