About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve organizational sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Lead, coach, motivate, and manage a high-performance sales team
- Manage Account Executives and oversee team performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand market share
- Develop new business with existing customers and acquire new customers across a named account list
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Oversee sales budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with marketing, product, sales leadership, internal support, and training and development teams
- Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Drive innovation in sales processes and practices
- Report sales performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership
- Spend 50% or more of the time outside an office interfacing with customers, identifying opportunities, networking, and following up on leads
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or relevant work experience required
- 7-10 years of experience in Sales or a relevant functional area
- 4+ years of experience in a management position required
- Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
- Ability to travel 25%
- Ability to travel to customer sites within dedicated territory
- Expert ability with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Expert proficiency with CRM software
- Expert familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and oversight
