Lead development of Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned with client requirements and business objectives
Drive professional-services revenue by identifying new opportunities and expanding service offerings
Partner with stakeholder teams to develop, enhance, and position service offerings
Collaborate with sales, customer success, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery and client engagement
Contribute to practice development through innovation, service advancement, standards, and best practices
Build and maintain trusted client and strategic-partner relationships
Provide thought leadership in service delivery, infrastructure modernization, and cloud technologies
Evaluate business challenges and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and outcomes
Lead technical assessments and guide hardware and software technology evaluation, selection, and implementation
Track emerging technologies and architecture practices while recommending modernization opportunities and strategic technology investments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or a related technical consulting role
7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure solutions
Experience supporting cloud, virtualization, networking, storage, and security initiatives
Expert ability to oversee and direct complex sales opportunities from qualification through completion
Expert ability to identify, document, and manage technical and business requirements through stakeholder engagement and solution discovery
Expert ability to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and drive professional services engagements
Expert experience leading large-scale infrastructure, cloud, and modernization projects
Deep knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and core VMware technologies
Strong understanding of networking, storage, security, business continuity, and disaster recovery architectures
Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to effectively engage executives, architects, engineers, and infrastructure teams
Experience leading discovery workshops, assessments, and solution design engagements
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and develop modernization strategies aligned with business objectives
Willingness to travel as needed to support clients, engagements, and business objectives
