About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end Record to Report business process for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation, from requirements gathering and process design through configuration, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
Lead cross-functional workshops to document current-state Finance processes and define future-state Oracle Fusion Cloud workflows
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration and integration across Finance modules
Oversee migration and validation of financial master data, open balances, and historical transaction data
Manage day-to-day collaboration with ERP implementation partners and hold vendors accountable for scope, quality, and timelines
Report on milestones and risks, manage cross-functional dependencies, and escalate issues to the steering committee
Execute change management and training plans, build RTR super-user and process-champion networks, and drive user adoption
Lead post-implementation hypercare, enhancement prioritization, quarterly release readiness, and partner-to-internal-team handoff
Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases, coordinate regression testing, and lead adoption of new capabilities
Partner with Internal Audit and IT Security to ensure SOX, segregation-of-duties, audit, and regulatory compliance
Own the strategy, scalability, functionality, and roadmap for Record to Report processes and systems
Assess gaps, develop investment proposals and multi-year capability roadmaps, and identify process automation and standardization opportunities
Define business processes, data maps, requirements, system designs, data flows, and workflows
Configure and manage Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and support project coordination and data analysis
Provide first-level support, troubleshoot system issues, and train end users and technical support staff
Collaborate with Accounting groups, vendors, Project Management, IT, Finance leadership, and external implementation partners
Support master and transactional data development using OTBI and BI Publisher
Provide on-call and after-hours support for critical project deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of experience with large ERP systems
3–5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
Hands-on experience with Fusion General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Allocations, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, Financial Reporting Studio, OTBI, and BI Publisher
10+ years of experience working with financial applications
Full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation experience leading the Record to Report business process
Proven track record managing projects within budget and timeline
Experience across multiple Finance functional areas, including accounting, record-to-report, business intelligence, HR/payroll, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash
Experience with sensitive data, SOX controls, and change management processes
Ability to own and maintain user access controls for audits and process changes
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and ambiguity-management skills
Ability to develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses
Ability to oversee Oracle Fusion Cloud role-based security and segregation-of-duties controls
Ability to drive projects through completion, testing, and acceptance
Ability to provide on-call and after-hours support for key projects
PMP certification is a plus
Familiarity with DCAA/FAR-DFARS-compliant or CMMC-aligned control environments is a plus
Experience with ERP boundary systems, Concur, Avalara, Coupa, FloQast, and other financial systems is preferred
Oracle Cloud ecosystem experience, such as Oracle Integration Cloud, is a plus
