About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain internal web applications and tools using C#/Blazor or Python
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Artifactory, and SonarQube
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software delivery, improve code quality, and enhance operational visibility
  • Implement secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions supporting developer productivity and enterprise compliance
  • Evaluate and adopt modern DevOps and full-stack practices
  • Shape scalable, enterprise-grade solutions supporting Shield AI’s engineering workflows, growth, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining internal web applications using C#/Blazor and/or Python
  • Hands-on expertise with DevOps practices and tooling, including CI/CD pipeline development, version control, and artifact management
  • Experience with automation, infrastructure-as-code, and quality tools such as SonarQube
  • Solid understanding of secure software development, system integration, and enterprise-scale architecture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of cross-functional teamwork
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with GitLab/Azure DevOps, GitHub, Artifactory, SonarQube
  • Preferred: experience in DoD, defense, or government contractor environments; NIST 800-218 (SSDF); DevSecOps; Terraform or Bicep; static/dynamic analysis; artifact attestation; enterprise IAM including SSO, RBAC, and audit logging; Blazor Server/WebAssembly and Python
