About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff
- Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly
- Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls
- Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians
- Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry
- Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims
- Support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate, timely filling and delivery of specialty medications
- Assist patients through the refill process and help maintain efficient pharmacy operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- State-registered (Mississippi) Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication, organization, and tech skills
- Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to navigate the internet and web-based platforms
- Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through a pre-employment assessment
