About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and thought partner to clients
  • Build long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead client-facing workshops and strategy presentations
  • Align design and copywriting partners to execute strategic visions
  • Develop quantifiable content strategies, test-and-learn methodologies, and measurement methodologies to demonstrate marketing ROI
  • Collaborate with data engineers to interpret dashboards and raw data
  • Analyze complex datasets and generate clear, error-free insights
  • Create and own client-facing decks using storytelling with data and presentation design
  • Communicate strategic narratives and actionable audience insights through data visualizations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on email marketing trends and best practices
  • Share best practices with clients and colleagues
  • Report directly to the Senior Director of Data & Insights
  • Collaborate across data, creative, and operations teams on post-campaign reporting and business-led narratives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in omnichannel or lifecycle marketing strategy
  • Meaningful experience working on email marketing for or with major consumer brands
  • Financial services experience is a huge plus
  • Proven expertise leveraging data to drive business decisions
  • Ability to develop multi-year omnichannel test-and-learn roadmaps and granular journey-stage, channel-brief, or optimization strategies
  • Curious, always-learning practitioner of AI tools to aid thinking, output, and efficiency
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills paired with a creative spark
  • Knowledge of design, copy, and customer experience; ability to collaborate with creatives
  • Comfort abstracting insights from large datasets and using dashboards, including Tableau and AWS
  • Expert in Excel/Google Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of email and digital marketing metrics
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Executive presence with excellent written and oral communication, time management, and client deliverable development skills
  • Familiarity with ESPs, including SFMC and Adobe, preferred but not required
  • Must have current US or Canada work authorization
  • Must work US East Coast hours
  • No relocation assistance available
