About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the US insurance roadmap and client work across structured data, free text, documents, and images
  • Build and productionize data pipelines optimized for LLMs and multi-modal models
  • Design, develop, and deploy LLM-based solutions using RAG, embeddings, and instruction tuning
  • Experiment with agentic AI technologies and develop MVPs for autonomous subrogation solutions
  • Develop Chain-of-Thought and ReAct prompting strategies for liability decisions based on Comparative Negligence laws
  • Create agent tools to query internal databases, call external weather APIs, and calculate impact force from telemetry data
  • Establish LLM-as-a-judge evaluation frameworks for unbiased, legally sound, and explainable decisions
  • Ensure responsible-AI practices covering privacy, hallucination mitigation, explainability, and compliance
  • Lead client workshops, present prototypes, gather feedback, and help define roadmap priorities
  • Work alongside technical experts as part of the global Data Science team to roll out enterprise-level solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert proficiency in production-level object-oriented programming (OOP) for building scalable and reliable systems
  • Proven hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI techniques, including RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, and model tuning
  • Experience leveraging OpenAI/Anthropic or open-source variants
  • Solid foundation in ML fundamentals and practical experience across the full machine learning lifecycle, including model evaluation, monitoring, versioning, and production deployment
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines for document, OCR, and multi-modal data workflows
  • Experience integrating LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI Agent SDK, CrewAI, A2A/MCP with Databricks or Azure-hosted models
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients, translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Deep expertise in Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake is highly desired
  • Understanding of Spark data architecture is a plus
  • Experience using MLflow for the full lifecycle is highly desired
