About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and grow the existing customer base while prospecting for new business opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Grow the portfolio year over year by increasing program participation, upselling and cross-selling
  • Understand the slip-and-fall experience within each account and sell solutions that achieve profitable volume and revenue growth
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and drive growth
  • Grow low-performing accounts, reactivate inactive accounts, and add incremental revenue
  • Develop relationships with departments interacting with the SFC program, from C-suite to end users
  • Develop and expand relationships within key accounts
  • Implement account planning and manage the customer portfolio to achieve revenue and penetration objectives
  • Manage contract and RFP renewals
  • Forecast sales
  • Attend strategic customer meetings, quarterly business reviews, trade shows, annual industry conferences, client events, networking functions, golf tournaments, industry events, and client-sponsored activities
  • Represent the company at industry events and client-sponsored activities to promote the brand and identify business opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule
  • Up to 50% travel on a monthly basis
  • 5+ years in B2B sales with enterprise account and QSR/Casual Dining restaurant vertical experience preferred
  • Business acumen and understanding of multi-unit restaurant operations, franchise structures, and food service purchasing and procurement processes preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and generate growth opportunities virtually, on the phone and in person
  • Successful negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Accurate and professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and planning skills
  • Driven to meet goals, generate results and overcome objectives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and able to use company CRM
  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred
