About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations day to day
Help build ShopMy’s procurement function, including vendor management and spend controls
Partner cross-functionally with legal, people, and IT teams to streamline processes as the company grows
Use AI tools to automate and improve team workflows
Support billing operations within the broader finance function
Collaborate with Finance on month-end close, audits, and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–6 years in finance operations, accounting, or a related field; accounting background preferred
Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs
Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and processes
Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problems
Genuine fluency with AI tools
Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate
E-Verify work authorization verification upon hire
