Key responsibilities & impact

Own day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance explanations, and financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Apply an audit mindset to internal controls, compliance, and financial processes
Research technical accounting matters and prepare well-supported memos for audit and financial reporting
Apply accounting knowledge to the technology and creator economy context
Improve and scale accounting systems and workflows
Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in audit
CPA license
Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Ability to research, analyze, and write technical accounting positions and memos
Familiarity with modern accounting tools and a track record of process improvement
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
Industry-relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment preferred
NetSuite ERP system experience is a bonus
