About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop business scenario studies and diagnostics
  • Develop and support teams in measuring results, identifying opportunities, trends, and patterns in datasets
  • Formulate hypotheses and solve problems through data science
  • Present and communicate analyses to non-technical audiences
  • Partner with Data Engineers to improve data acquisition and transformation workflows used in models
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts to generate business insights and direct analyses toward strategic decisions
  • Ensure model quality, performance, and sustainability
  • Participate in the Data Science Chapter, promoting a data-driven culture
  • Maintain the documentation required for deliverables
  • Continuously develop technical and business expertise
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to propose changes, inform decisions, and deploy intelligent models and algorithms in software products
  • Extract and process data from diverse sources and at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or related fields
  • Programming languages for advanced analytics (SQL, R, Python)
  • Version control and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, or similar)
  • ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Advanced statistics applied to data science (inference, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis)
  • Statistical and econometric modeling (regression, time series, survival models)
  • Experience with production environments (model deployment, MLOps, monitoring)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Building queries for relational and non-relational databases (advanced SQL, query optimization)
  • Data architecture (modeling, ETL pipelines, integration)
  • Advanced data visualization and storytelling (Power BI, Plotly, Seaborn)
