About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in the Civil and Criminal Litigation Department of Sicredi’s Administrative Center (CAS) in Porto Alegre, providing legal support to central and individual cooperatives within the Sicredi system.
- Monitor, conduct, and manage court proceedings involving credit recovery and judicial reorganization.
- Work with outsourced law firms, providing guidance and direction on defense, appellate, and settlement strategies.
- Analyze scenarios from the perspective of the courts, interpreting current legislation, legal doctrine, and case law.
- Provide information and insights to support decision-making by assessing risks and proposing solutions to internal clients.
- Analyze proceedings, case law trends, and specific cases to propose business improvements.
- Prepare responses to inquiries and legal opinions in clear, objective, and accessible language.
- Support training programs and system-wide legal guidance for credit cooperatives.
- Collaborate with managers within the Legal Superintendence and other CAS departments.
- Participate in committees and associations, representing Sicredi.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Postgraduate qualification in Civil Law and Civil Procedure.
- Knowledge and practical experience in credit recovery, judicial reorganization, and strategic litigation.
- Ability to analyze different aspects of the same issue.
- Negotiation skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
