About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical reference in Treasury
  • Contribute to defining strategies, managing risks, developing products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing the institution’s results
  • Manage hedge accounting structures and support the development of related documentation
  • Develop data visualizations based on qualitative analyses to support diagnoses and decision-making
  • Monitor the actual and projected results of the institution’s various portfolios
  • Monitor compliance with legal and management requirements applicable to Treasury operations
  • Coordinate the creation of new Treasury products
  • Propose alternatives to maximize results while complying with the risk appetite statement limits of the institution and its affiliated cooperatives
  • Monitor and analyze financial liabilities with acquirers and other counterparties, proposing early-settlement transactions aligned with liquidity, funding, and profitability guidelines
  • Assess the impact of market conditions, funding costs, and early-settlement opportunities on Treasury results
  • Develop analyses and projections related to financial flows and operating liabilities, supporting decisions on receivables advances and the efficient allocation of resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quantitative Sciences, Economics, or a related field
  • Solid experience in Corporate Finance and/or ALM within the financial sector, or in liquidity risk and market risk areas
  • Knowledge of financial risk management, banking regulations, and ALM practices
  • Intermediate proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python for data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of financial mathematics
  • Advanced Excel/VBA skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
