About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the quality and reliability of accounting data by generating business insights through data usage
Analyze general ledger accounts, identify inconsistencies, and support remediation efforts
Conduct analyses focused on data and process diagnostics, investigation, and support for management decision-making
Navigate and query databases (e.g., SQL/Databricks) to extract and analyze relevant information
Build dashboards and analytical views for internal monitoring by the team
Provide input for the preparation of materials, reports, and data storytelling for executive forums
Monitor management indicators (operational metrics and OKRs), anticipate deviations, and propose critical analyses
Translate business needs into structured requests before engaging the Data Team
Contribute to the enhancement of indicators, metrics, and monitoring methods
Ensure alignment, consistency, and clarity in analyses, serving as the management team’s data focal point
Identify opportunities to improve processes and apply data and automation from a business perspective
Act cross-functionally as a bridge between the accounting business context and data analysis, supporting leaders and teams in generating insights, diagnosing deviations, and making decisions
Conduct exploratory analyses, build dashboards, and develop data-driven narratives
Work with the management team’s innovation agent to monitor the evolution of the Superintendency’s data strategy within the Accounting scope

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Experience with accounting routines and financial information analysis
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
Knowledge of SQL/Databricks (sufficient to create queries and perform data analyses)
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Critical perspective on processes and performance indicators
Proactive and solutions-oriented approach
