Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs.
Actively participate in defining technical solutions, supporting architectural decisions and product evolution.
Develop and enhance microservices and distributed systems.
Analyze complex problems and propose solutions that address quality, performance, security, and scalability.
Develop unit tests and contribute to defining quality strategies for distributed applications.
Conduct code reviews, promote software engineering best practices, and support the team's technical development.
Work with messaging and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.
Contribute to the evolution of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Support application containerization, orchestration, and deployment in cloud environments.
Contribute to application observability and monitoring, supporting the identification and resolution of failures.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to build solutions that deliver business value.
Work in multidisciplinary teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Contribute to the continuous evolution of the team's products, processes, and engineering practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience developing back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Experience building and enhancing scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs.
Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization.
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Strong command of software engineering best practices, including SOLID, Clean Code, design patterns, and code reviews.
Experience with test-driven development, including unit testing and quality strategies for distributed applications.
Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architecture, with experience using Apache Kafka.
Experience with application containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and modern collaborative development practices.
Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Knowledge of Consul for service discovery and configuration management.
Experience with AWS services, especially ECS, SQS, and S3.
Knowledge of observability and monitoring using tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams that use agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Active participation in defining technical solutions, supporting architectural decisions and product evolution.
Close collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to build solutions that deliver business value.
Ability to analyze complex problems, propose scalable solutions, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the team's engineering practices.
