About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess and analyze existing d.velop / d.3 environments
- Conduct readiness and migration feasibility assessments
- Analyze customizations, hooks, scripts, workflows, and integrations
- Design the target cloud architecture and migration strategy
- Define mappings, permissions, and migration procedures
- Execute test, full, and delta migrations
- Perform issue analysis, data cleansing, and quality assurance
- Advise clients, plan the cutover, execute the go-live, and transition the solution into operations
- Guide clients through the assessment, target architecture, migration strategy, cutover, and go-live
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience with d.velop documents and/or d.3
- Proven experience with ECM / DMS migrations
- Hands-on experience migrating d.velop on-premises environments to d.velop Cloud
- Experience with migration tools, Repository Export, APIs, connectors, or comparable d.velop migration mechanisms
- Experience mapping document types, properties, users, groups, and permissions
- Ability to assess existing customizations, workflows, and interfaces for cloud compatibility
- Demonstrable consulting experience in assessments, workshops, target architecture, and client communication
- German at least at C1 level
- Nice to have: d.velop Cloud Migration Toolkit
- Nice to have: Hybrid architectures, identity management, and SSO
- Nice to have: Integrations with SAP, Microsoft 365, or Salesforce
- Nice to have: Experience with very large document repositories or migrations from other ECM systems

- Your application should describe a specific migration project you completed, including the source and target systems, data volume, migration tools, and cutover approach
