About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise directors and managers on organisational design, employee relations, people performance and development.
- Identify people issues and trends early, and build solutions with stakeholders before they escalate.
- Manage employee relations cases in line with French employment law, with external counsel where needed.
- Support the relationship with employee representatives in France.
- Drive actions that strengthen engagement and retention, using survey results and people data.
- Support manager development initiatives, including management training programmes.
- Ensure onboarding and offboarding run smoothly in France, together with HR operations and Talent Acquisition.
- Keep people policies, procedures and processes compliant and aligned with the company’s culture and values.
- Contribute to People projects linked to the AI-native transition, including how roles, skills and ways of working evolve.
- Partner with directors and managers in France on all people topics and report to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three to five years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a software or technology company is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of French employment law and of employee relations practice in France.
- A broad grasp of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, development and compensation practices.
- Ability to build credibility with senior managers quickly and add value from the first weeks.
- Analytical, well organised and goal-oriented, able to manage several priorities at once.
- Comfort with HR data and an HRIS.
- Knowledge of BambooHR is a plus.
- Ease with AI tools in daily work, or a clear appetite to learn.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English.
- Availability to start on 1st December 2026.
- Four days per week on site at the Boulogne-Billancourt headquarters.
