About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, plan, lead, and execute Firm-sponsored programs for current and prospective clients
  • Serve as the marketing lead for events and sponsorships
  • Create event plans and manage critical dates and timelines
  • Draft and manage internal and external program communications
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team on website and social media postings
  • Collaborate on event logistics, including invitations, guest lists, speaker preparation, handouts, nametags, site management, visual presentations, and follow-up
  • Support office/region client entertainment activities, including management of ticket assets and allocation systems
  • Coordinate production and distribution of legal updates to clients
  • Format documents for print, web, and email and obtain required approvals
  • Post legal updates to websites and databases and create readership reports
  • Help prepare and manage the office marketing budget
  • Track and analyze regional initiatives and evaluate ROI
  • Support maintenance and use of the Firm’s CRM system
  • Identify, track, and secure speaking and credentialing opportunities for lawyers
  • Create materials supporting speaking and credentialing efforts
  • Assist with onboarding and integration of new lawyers and lateral partners
  • Assist with lawyer workshops on professional biographies and LinkedIn profiles
  • Work on special projects requested by the Client Engagement Manager and office leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional marketing, business development, or other relevant experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience planning and leading events in a professional services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing databases and technologies such as Vuture, SalesForce, and InterAction
  • Solid understanding of the competitive landscape in the local/regional market
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
