About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Regulatory and Enforcement Global Practice Group and its Practice Area Teams across offices
  • Drive development and execution of strategic plans and initiatives
  • Improve operational processes and provide administrative support to practice leaders
  • Build relationships with Global Practice Leaders, Practice Group Heads, partners, associates, and staff
  • Organize practice group meetings and develop communications, presentation materials, and meeting documentation
  • Develop customized reporting with practice leaders and Accounting
  • Monitor industry trends to inform strategic priorities
  • Support cross-practice and firm-wide strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Prepare client value and post-engagement reports demonstrating efficiencies, ROI, or innovative service delivery
  • Manage operational and process improvement projects, including operationalizing AI initiatives
  • Liaise with administrative departments including Learning & Development, Knowledge Management, Marketing and Business Development, and Accounting
  • Track and analyze utilization to guide staffing and talent decisions
  • Help determine hiring needs and facilitate recruiting, onboarding, and integration of entry-level and lateral associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Consulting, strategic and operational, substantial in-house legal experience, or related law firm experience
  • Proficient understanding of law firm economics, attorney incentives, staffing dynamics, and overall practice operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Resource Management/Scheduling Tools, Excel, and related applications
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify needs and challenges, develop solutions, and drive projects to completion
  • Sound judgment in engaging leadership and collaborating with others
  • Strong presence in complex and time-constrained challenges
  • Proficient at negotiating and managing conflict
  • Proven client service focus, ability to resolve issues quickly, and sense of urgency
