About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote diagnostic tests to healthcare providers
  • Drive sales growth and increase market share by educating customers on assigned products and relevant disease states
  • Build and leverage customer relationships across varied customer segments
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Educate customers on the appropriate use, interpretation, and ordering of Siemens diagnostic tests
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and industry opinion leaders
  • Deliver expert-level presentations on Siemens Healthineers novel assays, allergy, and plasma proteins
  • Position the clinical value of novel solutions within customers' clinical environments
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through close using Siemens' CRM tool
  • Execute demand-generation campaigns for key market segments
  • Provide market and customer insights to leadership through internal and external data analysis
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Technical Support
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend sales events, and participate in training
  • Engage with the Regional Manager to develop programs that increase customer access and market share

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial organization and sales/marketing, preferably clinical diagnostics and with direct physician interface
  • Previous experience in healthcare sales
  • Demonstrated management of analytical tools for funnel building, CRM, and market insights
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of lab and competitive laboratory testing methodologies is a benefit
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned geography
  • Based in the USA
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence
  • No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by state/local law
  • Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
  • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
