About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive distribution sales in the Central Territory for the Lab Diagnostics businesses
  • Own regional relationships and strategy with several national distributors
  • Facilitate interactions at the field level
  • Achieve sales, profit, and growth objectives for assigned distributors
  • Drive product launches, product training, and business reviews
  • Manage distributor funnel and forecasting and deliver on each forecast
  • Prepare strategic plans with marketing and sales leads to build long-term partnerships
  • Develop and implement action plans, coordinating activities across internal departments and teams
  • Conduct regular distributor business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction, address issues, and identify partnership opportunities
  • Provide market intelligence for the sales organization
  • Demonstrate product, service, and industry trend knowledge
  • Assist leadership with sales strategies highlighting Siemens Healthineers' advantages and addressing competitive challenges
  • Represent Siemens Healthineers at national and regional sales meetings
  • Influence varying roles across the organization through strong communication
  • Use data management software and CRM to maintain territory intelligence and accurate account information and activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and point-of-care products and market
  • Experience working and collaborating within cross functional team
  • Strong experience with distribution sales, promotions, acute and non-acute market, and funnel management
  • Previous capital sales experience with demonstrated track record of success
  • Ability to provide regular forecasts and assess channel partner performance
  • Business Level interface with distribution partners on owned processes
  • Exceptional customer facing skills
  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in distribution and / or Laboratory sales
  • Experience using Share or similar CRM tool
  • High degree of business acumen including financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer competencies
  • Ability to develop and deliver business reviews
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 70% throughout U.S.
  • Candidates must reside in their respective territory
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of residence
  • Must have no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by state/local law
  • Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
