About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute territory and specialty growth strategies for Hemostasis (Coagulation)
- Prioritize enterprise accounts, develop competitive conversion strategies, expand installed-base penetration, and plan multi-year revenue growth
- Lead complex sales cycles including executive discovery, stakeholder mapping, business-case creation, competitive positioning, contract strategy, negotiation support, close planning, and implementation alignment
- Cultivate executive sponsorship and trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite, laboratory, clinical, procurement, operations, IT, finance, and health system leaders
- Build integrated automation and informatics value propositions tied to Siemens Healthineers equipment
- Orchestrate complex, matrixed team-selling across Diagnostics Sales, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Scientific Affairs, Technical Applications, Informatics, Service, Finance, Contracting, and implementation teams
- Own commercial execution for a senior territory portfolio, including funnel management, opportunity risk assessment, forecast accuracy, CRM governance, strategic account planning, business reviews, and escalation of growth barriers
- Serve as the regional Hemostasis (Coagulation) subject matter expert
- Shape strategic pursuits, support launch readiness, elevate competitive intelligence, and influence specialty portfolio growth priorities
- Quantify customer impact including operational efficiency, labor utilization, standardization, analyzer productivity, assay consolidation, cost-to-serve, revenue opportunity, risk reduction, and total value of ownership
- Build executive-level growth plans for priority accounts
- Expand share, protect at-risk business, create referenceable customers, strengthen loyalty, and deliver measurable commercial, operational, and clinical outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive sales experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory solutions, medical devices, hospital sales, healthcare systems, specialty diagnostics, strategic accounts, or corporate account management preferred
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level sales engagements across hospital systems, IDNs, reference laboratories, academic medical centers, and corporate accounts
- Ability to influence executive, operational, clinical, IT, laboratory, finance, and procurement stakeholders
- Deep commercial expertise in capital equipment, automation, informatics, reagents, consumables, and connected diagnostic solutions
- Direct Hemostasis (Coagulation) experience strongly preferred; hematology, plasma protein, or broader laboratory diagnostics experience valued
- Experience using CRM tools
- Experience using Miller Heiman is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Advanced ability to lead without authority and work across cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed commercial pursuits
- Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to translate hemostasis science, laboratory workflow, automation, informatics, and financial impact into business value
- Record of exceeding growth objectives, expanding market share, displacing competitors, and building sustainable customer partnerships
- Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and meet travel requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of residence
- Must not have prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending DUI/DWI charges, or other serious moving violations unless prohibited by applicable law
- Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
