About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service CT/AX equipment in the Savannah, Georgia area
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics instrumentation at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management
- Manage tool and test equipment calibration status and document usage on eFSR
- Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts
- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately
- Mentor other Field Engineers on competencies and responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment
- Ability to work individually and in an established team setting
- Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools
- Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematic, block diagram, and functional description documents
- 3+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer/biomedical engineer servicing diagnostic instruments
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine grasping/manipulation work
- Good vision and ability to work alone
- Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
