About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage product portfolio solutions and/or service elements, with a focus on product phase outs
  • Own and maintain multi-year portfolio phase-out roadmaps
  • Define, prioritize, and justify portfolio initiatives through concept proposals and business cases
  • Monitor portfolio initiative progress and alignment with approved business plans
  • Manage investment portfolios and support priority-setting and trade-off decisions
  • Communicate portfolio decisions, dependencies, and changes to stakeholders
  • Adapt portfolio and roadmap plans to strategy, market conditions, and operating changes
  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and other functional leaders
  • Facilitate resource allocation across initiatives
  • Lead portfolio-level risk identification, tracking, and mitigation
  • Define and analyze portfolio KPIs and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop and improve portfolio governance and decision-making processes
  • Create portfolio visualizations, dashboards, charts, heatmaps, bubble charts, and timelines
  • Apply Lean Portfolio Management principles, portfolio Kanban, funding guardrails, and value-stream-focused prioritization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience, skills, education, and other qualifications relevant to product portfolio management
  • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management principles
  • Experience with portfolio governance, investment planning, risk management, KPIs, and portfolio visualizations
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement
