About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage (Sub) Commodities cross-business or for one business and foster cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate and manage a virtual/line management team to achieve optimum conditions and savings
  • Define (Sub) Commodity structure, organization and strategy in alignment with Management
  • Develop and implement material productivity measures
  • Communicate strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials
  • Negotiate frame contracts and define core assortment
  • Document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems
  • Forward relevant Procurement project information to keep project participants up to date
  • Identify procurement risks, opportunities and market forces
  • Perform Supplier Management and Supplier Development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Supply Chain Management, or any Business field
  • Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
  • Rising senior preferred
  • Able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
