About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape and execute the Education and Training strategy across the Americas
Lead, challenge, and coach the regional organization
Translate global strategy into a regional execution roadmap across business lines, zones, and countries
Plan, develop, and deliver employee education for approximately 600 Application Specialists and 1,500 Customer Service Engineers
Define and expand the regional Customer Education portfolio
Own regional capacity and infrastructure planning
Drive operational excellence, transparency, and performance management across the Education business
Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations of HUB Americas training facilities and events
Develop HUB and Spoke training center capabilities across the region
Plan strategic development of education locations across the Americas
Ensure compliant and transparent operations, documentation, and EHS adherence
Scale digital learning technologies, blended training models, and data-enabled education solutions
Grow the Education Services portfolio to increase customer value, profitable revenue, digital adoption, and delivery efficiency
Maximize synergies across departments, business lines, and locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent experience (Engineering, Medical Technology, Clinical Education, etc.)
7+ years professional experience or equivalent with a background involving clinical and medical technology expertise
Fluency in English is required
Spanish and Portuguese highly desirable
Strategic and business planning experience advantageous
Ability to influence, convince, embrace and drive change management
Leadership of direct reports and ability to guide and motivate non-direct reports within a matrix organization
Experience working with different cultures and in multicultural teams
Solid understanding of HQ and Education services processes and their relationship to the Americas business
Management methods, organizational capabilities, and motivational skills
Project implementation capabilities and process orientation
Budget and resource planning and performance management
Expert customer interaction and training skills
Long-term experience within Customer Services
