About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the named, persistent technical partner for a portfolio of strategic and premium accounts alongside the CSM
  • Build and maintain technical success plans and translate diagnostics into business value stories and executive roadmaps
  • Diagnose workflow design, labeling strategy, and configuration hygiene issues
  • Own implementation continuity after go-live and catch technical drift early
  • Run recurring technical health reviews and diagnostic readouts
  • Help customers navigate model releases by analyzing score behavior changes and business impact
  • Operationalize fraud strategy and vertical recommendations in customer environments
  • Coordinate technical diagnostic and mitigation responses during active fraud attacks
  • Orchestrate Support, Customer Engineering, and Product while keeping customers and CSMs informed
  • Identify recurring technical patterns, feature requests, and workflow trends for Product and Engineering
  • Act as the primary technical partner to the CSM across cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to account retention and growth by identifying technical risk and reducing repeat issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Implementation, or Technical Support
  • Prior experience in fraud or payments
  • Strong pattern recognition across APIs, webhooks, JSON, and data logs
  • Working SQL and data analysis skills, or ability to quickly develop them
  • Familiarity with scripting languages; Python is a plus
  • Ability to translate technical detail into business impact for engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured, proactive approach to account health
  • Comfort operating under pressure during live incidents
  • Strong cross-functional instincts and ability to coordinate Support, Customer Engineering, TASA, or Product
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts sufficient to explain model behavior, score changes, and release impact
  • Experience running formal technical health reviews, QBR-style technical readouts, or success planning cadences
  • Must live in and be authorized to work from a state where Sift is registered
