About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, build, test and send all company emails in HubSpot
  • Develop and maintain a shared email calendar aligned with event timelines and business goals
  • Set campaign goals and track opens, clicks, lead capture, conversions and revenue
  • Build lead-capture and nurture journeys from first interest through ticket purchase
  • Connect landing pages, forms and lead magnets to CRM workflows
  • Coordinate lead handover with sales and partnerships
  • Build and maintain audience segments for founders, investors, healthcare executives, sponsors, speakers and past attendees
  • Use dynamic content and personalisation
  • Write concise, action-oriented email copy
  • Collaborate with designers on responsive, mobile-friendly templates
  • Map, build and test automated touchpoints across the attendee lifecycle
  • Perform QA checks on lists, consent, personalisation, links, formatting and workflow logic
  • Maintain QA logs and testing checklists
  • Work with IT to test and monitor automated ticketing emails
  • Lead migration of email communications into HubSpot and maintain clean, documented workflows
  • Review tools and processes and recommend improvements
  • Ensure GDPR, CAN-SPAM and data protection compliance
  • Maintain list hygiene and monitor sender reputation and deliverability
  • Track and report deliverability, engagement, conversions, upgrades and revenue
  • Run A/B tests and turn results into recommendations
  • Align email with social, paid media and content marketing
  • Coordinate communication ownership across marketing, sales, partnerships and event teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in CRM, email marketing or marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM and marketing automation platform
  • Experience with list management, segmentation, workflows and lifecycle stages
  • Proven experience building lead generation and nurture campaigns that drive registrations or purchases
  • Strong understanding of open, click-through, lead-to-registration and upgrade rates
  • Experience running A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times and calls to action
  • Knowledge of email deliverability, list hygiene, data quality, GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance
  • Experience with reporting and attribution, including campaign performance dashboards
  • Experience with landing pages, forms, lead magnets and CRM workflow integrations
  • Methodical QA approach and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns across different events and time zones
  • Excellent written English
  • Experience with CRM or email platform migration is a strong advantage
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email templates is an advantage
  • Experience in events, MedTech, HealthTech or B2B marketing is welcome but not essential
