About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and manage the five phases of Construction & Infrastructure projects: initiation, design, bid, construction, and closeout
  • Execute project estimating, requests for proposals (RFPs), bid analysis, and project execution
  • Establish project budgets and control project costs
  • Manage the full project life cycle according to strict milestone deadlines
  • Complete financial analysis of RFPs and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Support negotiation and administration of contracts and agreements for properties and facilities
  • Develop bid documents, identify potential bidders, and support contract awards
  • Review construction cost line items and recommend cost-control approaches
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on capital project program development
  • Lead and direct project team members to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Coordinate routine virtual and in-person status meetings with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct frequent and detailed site visits to assess progress, improve team efficiency, and mitigate mistakes or delays
  • Communicate with vendors, consultants, and contractors regarding drawings, specifications, regulatory paperwork, and licensing requirements
  • Ensure projects are completed within designated schedules and approved budgets through budget management, expense tracking, and risk management
  • Lead and manage all parties involved in projects
  • Manage required project closeout documents in a secure database and provide copies to local management
  • Manage invoicing and billing by coordinating payments and cash flow
  • Assemble monthly capital project performance reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering is required
  • Advanced certification (e.g., CCM, PE, AIA, LEED AP) is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Project Management or Construction Management
  • Related technical experience may be considered in place of education requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of Project Management, Procurement, Risk/Insurance, and Accounts Payable functions
  • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, team members, and suppliers in a professional manner
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Superior time management skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or ProCore
  • Ability to work autonomously while providing oversight and updates to leadership
  • The job will require 75% travel
  • Valid driver's license
