About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Store Managers to drive business results across an assigned district
  • Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, staffing needs, piercing performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and create action plans
  • Support store teams in delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving sales, piercing, and profitability goals
  • Conduct regular store visits to observe execution, coach leaders, remove barriers, and reinforce behaviors supporting financial success
  • Identify, recruit, develop, and retain top talent across the district
  • Support recruiting activities, candidate selection, staffing strategies, and succession pipelines
  • Provide coaching, training, and development to Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and team members
  • Support onboarding, leadership development, performance management, and talent calibration
  • Evaluate store operations for compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Monitor audit results, inventory controls, loss prevention, repair management, cash handling, labor utilization, administrative processes, and store execution
  • Identify operational risks, support problem resolution, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Champion Banter and Piercing Pagoda customer experience, service standards, customer engagement, and relationship-building
  • Support piercing services and ensure adherence to piercing policies, procedures, safety standards, and training requirements
  • Monitor customer feedback, Net Promoter Score results, Customer Care concerns, and piercing performance metrics
  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising standards, promotional initiatives, and brand presentation expectations
  • Establish productive relationships with Store Managers, District Managers, and cross-functional partners
  • Foster an inclusive culture and serve as a coach, mentor, and trusted business partner
  • Partner with the Regional Director to support sales growth, customer experience, talent development, recruiting, operational excellence, piercing execution, and visual merchandising
  • Demonstrate increasing proficiency in multi-unit leadership, district-level business management, talent development, operational execution, customer experience leadership, and piercing excellence
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of retail leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success as a Store Manager, District Training Store Manager, Area Manager, or equivalent retail leadership role
  • Proven track record of driving sales, customer experience, talent development, and operational execution
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and readiness for multi-unit management responsibilities
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing retail talent
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout an assigned district
  • Ability to analyze sales, staffing, operational, and customer experience metrics
  • Ability to coach, train, and develop leaders through observation and feedback
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence and lead through collaboration
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to use company technology systems and reporting tools
  • Ability to perform ear piercings upon completion of required certification and training
  • Ability to train, coach, and validate piercing execution in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of piercing standards, safety requirements, customer consultation practices, and piercing aftercare expectations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, move among and between display cases, handle merchandise, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift and move up to 10 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Travel by car is regularly required; air travel and overnight travel may be required
  • Standard workweek may include weekend, evening, holiday, and extended hours
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
