About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Automate cloud infrastructure tasks using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
Monitor and maintain cloud environments for high availability and performance
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments using GitHub Actions
Build and integrate basic AI-agentic workflows, including agent-assisted runbooks, automated remediation, and operational tooling
Collaborate with development teams to align cloud solutions with business requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
Support automation and undifferentiated functionality across AWS accounts
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Maintain consistent regular scheduled attendance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in cloud operations and automation
Experience in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, and AWS services
Hands-on exposure to AI coding agents and basic agentic AI concepts
Proficiency in core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
Strong scripting and programming skills in Python and TypeScript
Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions
Demonstrated ability to use AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, or similar, with appropriate human oversight
Basic understanding of agentic AI concepts, including LLM-based agents, tool/function calling, prompt design, and guardrails
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and infrastructure-as-code best practices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
