About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze electrical plans, specifications, and sequence of operations
  • Generate lighting control device layouts and one-line riser diagrams
  • Review project quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders to identify and resolve discrepancies in the ERP system
  • Review submittal and installation documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate project changes proactively and update documentation accordingly
  • Coordinate custom product requirements with engineering, operations, and production teams
  • Manage multiple projects to meet customer and project deadlines
  • Attend and lead project meetings and conference calls with clients and customers
  • Respond quickly and professionally to requests from sales representatives, consultants, engineers, electricians, and end users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience with lighting and lighting controls highly preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical building and energy codes, electrical contracting, electrical engineering, or lighting design
  • AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam experience required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (i.e., SAP)
  • Proven communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude, listening skills, openness to feedback, reliability, and collaboration
  • Ability to organize daily and weekly schedule to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail for thoroughly reviewing project documents
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
