About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Repair, install, and manage spare parts for machinery
Start up simple and/or complex equipment
Manage resources associated with the position, including the company vehicle and tools
Prepare service intervention reports
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning activities
Review the schedule prepared by the Customer Service department
Determine the type of intervention, the number of machines involved, and the intervention conditions
Install and commission simple equipment
Train customers on simple and/or complex equipment
Ensure that intervention conditions are suitable and request corrective action where necessary
Identify additional requirements or future interventions in order to initiate the preparation of a quotation
Manage spare parts and enter activity reports
Check spare parts availability against physical inventory and collect the required parts
Keep work equipment in good condition or arrange for repairs when necessary
Work primarily across the Greater West/Northern France region and throughout France

Requirements

What you’ll need

Vocational diploma or two-year technical degree in electromechanics, or an equivalent qualification
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans
Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with knowledge of automation systems an advantage
Able to work independently to ensure optimum efficiency
Knowledge of English is a plus
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong observation and analytical skills
Good organizational skills
Strong listening and communication skills
Highly rigorous, accurate, and patient
Diplomatic with a commercial mindset
Good instructional and training skills
Willingness to stay away from home 3 to 4 nights per week
