About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repair, install, and commission machinery, and manage spare parts
- Manage resources associated with the position, including the company vehicle and tools
- Prepare service reports
- Carry out troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning operations
- Review the schedule established by the Customer Service department
- Determine the type of service required, the number of machines involved, and the service conditions
- Install and commission simple equipment
- Train customers on simple and/or complex equipment
- Check safety conditions and request corrective action where necessary
- Identify service needs in order to initiate the preparation of a quotation
- Check the availability of supplies and collect spare parts
- Keep the vehicle, phone, computer, and toolbox in good condition or arrange for repairs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Vocational diploma or BTS in electromechanics, or an equivalent qualification
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans
- Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical technologies; knowledge of automation is an advantage
- Knowledge of English is a plus
- Ability to stay away from home for 3 to 4 nights per week
- Ability to work as part of a team
