About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repairing and installing machines and managing spare parts
- Commissioning simple and/or complex equipment
- Managing job-related resources, including the company vehicle and tools
- Preparing service intervention reports
- Performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning work
- Reviewing the schedule prepared by the Customer Service department
- Determining the type of intervention, the number of machines involved, and the intervention conditions
- Installing and commissioning simple equipment
- Training customers on simple and/or complex equipment
- Ensuring safe working conditions and the proper securing of interventions
- Identifying needs or required interventions in order to initiate the preparation of a quotation
- Managing spare parts and entering activity reports
- Checking spare-part availability against physical stock and collecting the required parts
- Keeping the vehicle, phone, computer, and toolbox in good condition
Requirements
What you’ll need- Vocational baccalaureate or BTS in electromechanics, or an equivalent qualification
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation layout plans
- Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as automation where applicable
- Ability to work independently to ensure optimum efficiency
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Travel involving 3 to 4 overnight stays per week should be expected
- Highly rigorous, precise, and patient
- Diplomatic and customer-oriented
- Strong teaching and communication skills
