About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a portfolio of key retail, restaurant, and hospitality accounts across the territory
- Serve as a trusted advisor and go-to expert for trade partners
- Train, motivate, and energize distributor sales teams
- Deliver portfolio presentations and tastings
- Develop and execute strategic plans to exceed market goals
- Partner with the Director of Regional Sales on pricing, programming, and inventory flow
- Provide reporting and real-time field feedback to internal teams
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics, and leadership
- Represent the Family of Silver Oak at trade tastings, industry events, and hospitality experiences
- Spend four days a week in the field, with administrative work completed remotely from a home office, parked car, or accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years of successful field sales or account management experience (wine, beverage, or luxury goods industry preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable talking wine with sommeliers, GMs, or first-time buyers
- Proven leadership with a collaborative mindset
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to work remotely and manage your schedule with discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Up to 80% field travel required within the territory
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Regularly walking, standing, driving, and meeting clients in on- and off-premise settings
