About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact and trusted HR resource for Silverchairians
  • Triage and resolve employee needs involving benefits, compensation, time logging, and PTO
  • Provide feedback and coaching support to employees and managers
  • Manage global onboarding, employee separations, exit interviews, offboarding, and communications
  • Manage HR-related projects and align people strategies with business objectives
  • Act as ADP super user for payroll, pre-boarding, onboarding, performance reviews, goal setting, configurations, and reporting
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity across ADP, the employer-of-record portal, and Zoho
  • Process US semi-monthly payroll and non-US monthly payroll; review contractor pay submissions
  • Administer US benefits, open enrollment, time-off programs, and leave-of-absence programs
  • Manage the employer-of-record relationship and international employee lifecycle across six supported countries
  • Coordinate international pay changes, leave programs, time-off tracking, audits, and compliance
  • Support quarterly performance reviews, goal setting, and high-potential employee development
  • Support employee engagement strategy, culture initiatives, staff surveys, and the Silverchair Advisory Group
  • Use analytics and AI tools such as Claude to improve HR programs and workflows
  • Maintain PeopleOps Confluence pages and coordinate the bi-weekly Silverchair Digest
  • Support regulatory compliance, audits, EEO compliance, and market compensation analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Manager at a small to medium-sized global technology company
  • Experience supporting operations in a remote-first environment across multiple countries and time zones
  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted HR resource with professionalism, discretion, and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on experience with ADP (required)
  • ClearCompany experience is a meaningful plus
  • Experience managing multi-state payroll processes
  • Benefits administration experience, including enrollments, updates, reporting, audits, and vendor relationships
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in performance coaching and feedback
  • Change management skills and experience
  • Cross-cultural competency across multiple cultures, regions, and time zones
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience using HR analytics for decision-making and improving people programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • HR certifications are a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools, including Claude, responsibly in HR workflows
  • Must be unable to require new employment authorization sponsorship
