About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as Functional Solution Architect and SCM Lead with Asset Management experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management projects
Implement various Microsoft D365 Supply Chain Management modules
Participate in pre-sales assessments, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept initiatives
Conduct Business Process Analysis and Business Process Reengineering workshops
Create, finalize, and sign off on functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans
Own functional project aspects and lead functional consultants
Review work products created by functional team members
Provide hands-on guidance in manufacturing, advanced warehousing, costing, supply chain management, and Asset Management processes in D365 FSCM
Lead conference room pilots and user acceptance testing sessions
Establish formal issue-resolution processes for functional architecture and integration points
Collaborate with the Project Manager to create functional backlogs in DevOps and support sprint and iteration planning
Serve as escalation point for functional design issues
Improve implementation methodology and establish implementation and training best practices for the F&O team
Train and disseminate D365 implementation information
Research changes in the D365 ecosystem and make implementation recommendations with the PMO
Travel to client locations as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field
MS D365 SCM Certified highly desired
10+ years of experience architecting complex solutions in supply chain using D365 FO
Project experience including assessment and analysis, designing business cases, envisioning, planning, and deployment of D365 solutions
Ability to translate business and functional analyst requirements into solution architecture
Ability to integrate with the overall client test plan
Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations
Experience integrating with multiple third-party solutions
Proven record of delivering information systems business value at an executive level
Ability to advise decision-makers as a trusted voice
Working knowledge of ISV solutions
Ability to perform both high-level architectural design and all phases of application delivery
Strong working knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum-based implementations
Confidence presenting to internal and external groups
Microsoft D365 Solution Architect certifications
Flexibility to travel as client and business needs dictate
