About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Safely operate a van for several hours daily to deploy and retrieve Lime shared electric vehicles within the local market
Interact with the local community to retrieve vehicles while assessing risks and using de-escalation skills when needed
Resolve city requests involving stickers, reflectors, and other minor issues under Lime service-level agreements
Maintain communication with peers, shift lead, and manager
Support Lime events, including valet services, staging, safety reviews, and vehicle cleanliness
Support battery management operations through accurate documentation, safety measures, and quality checks
Perform preventative vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments, tire inflation, scooter rotation, and warehouse-flow support
Monitor designated zones through on-foot patrols to ensure parking compliance and tidiness
Detect and report unusual ground-service and product situations
Occasionally assist customers in the field with Lime vehicle-related support
Follow safety procedures to ensure riders use safe vehicles
Operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed
Perform additional related tasks as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid in-state driver license and clean driving record
Experience in a similar position with knowledge of the local geography
Ability to understand and communicate in English at a level sufficient to follow safety procedures, read and complete required documentation, utilize mobile applications and tools, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 65lbs on a frequent basis required
Knowledge of cell phone applications; iOS experience preferred
Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks
Safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members, riders, and city officials
